24 Hours of Prayer

We have been overwhelmed with the love, support and prayers that have come from all of your posts! So many of ya’ll have expressed ways to specifically pray for the family. As we move forward from here, we have decided to do a day of 24 hour prayer for the family and close friends who are struggling with the news as well.

As many of you expressed how hard it was to hear the diagnosis, I am sure you can only begin to think how hard it has been for Glenda, Brian, Ryan, Kaci, and Austin, as well as for Brian and Glenda’s parents, siblings, and close friends. At times our hearts break and we wonder how we will be able to go forward from here, but we have been reminded over and over that the God that we serve is still ALIVE.

We thought of how powerful it would be to build this wall of support and lift up all of those who are involved and close to the family in prayer for 24 hours straight. Coming from the weekend where we celebrated Jesus’ birthday, reminds us that he is just as alive now as he was that day he was born and that we have to keep the faith.

What better way than to join together from across the states and pray specifically for God’s peace and strength to conquer the days ahead, and most of all for healing.

Instructions:

We will be doing this day of prayer on Friday, December the 30th, starting at 6 a.m. and will continue until Saturday, December the 31th, at 6 a.m.

We ask that you sign up for 15min during that day to take time to pray.

We have  split the day into four six-hour sections in the posts below. Please comment under the appropriate post and say which 15min you will be praying so that we can keep track.

Meaning of it all

We have created this website/blog to build a support system around Brian, Glenda, & the family, as well as to keep you updated with what is going on and prayer requests.

We hope that with your encouraging comments and prayers this can become a positive aspect in their lives as we all move forward from here and seek God for healing and peace.
